Someone Has Radar On You

SomeoneRadar is new iPhone application created by Yoichi Hirai. It was just released and available on iTunes. How this works; open the app and there is an arrow that will point in the direction of someone else using the same app. They will see the same thing (as illustrated below). You can text message right from the app to the other iPhone app and send each other information.

"hey wanna meet for lunch?"
"hey there's a new restaurant..."
"Concert in downtown...see you there"

If you are a young, believes in fate, easy going and ready to meet a new friend. This app should be one in your iPhone arsenal.

Houdini Would Be Mad

If he knew about this Street Magic 1: Levitation's iPhone app. Ok maybe not but you are going to love it like I did.  I loaded this free app on my iPhone, launched it and right away a list of videos display (see illustration A and video below).

This app will show you how to videos on levitation, how to float objects and more. Magic in your pocket.

You get two options 1) Watch the magic trick or illusion. 2) Watch the secret (the best part).

I already learned the Floating Expresso trick. And guess what? In the how-to video, a kid explained it to me. Once you know the secret you'll be saying, "no way", like I was.

For some secrets there is a small premium to view the secret. But you pay much much less than going to get it at the magic book store. Save probably hundreds.

My iPhone Camera Translates

I didn't think they can make my iPhone any better but they went ahead and did it. Let's say your in Downtown Los Angeles and there's a sign in Spanish you can't translate but you know it's important, "Stay away gangs in the area".

Sweat no further, this new app called Word Lens by Quest Visual will translate the sign for you. All you do is open the app, point your iPhone camera to it and it translates it right on your iPhone. It's sick. Best part it's FREE right now. Watch the video presentation for yourself.

An app called Emergency First Aid & Treatment Guide - phoneflips is a quick reference you can access right from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.

This app is like having that emergency kit in the trunk of your car. You never know when you are going to need it. The content in the guide is very concise and current. It covers almost every medical emergency in a no nonsense quick to find format.

Obviously it's not there to replace 911. But it is a quick reference in the event you are ever in an emergency situation. The cost of the app is $0.99. Search for your dream in this dream interpretation app.  Written by author and talk radio dream analyst Kari Hohne. I did a search about falling from a skyscraper which is one I have at times. New Killer StopMotion iPhone App

We just downloaded this StopMotion Recorder by - graf iPhone app and we are having tons of fun with it. I've always wondered how the heck they make these stopmotion movies and this app makes it so simple for anyone to do one. My favorite app this week. All you need is a little creativiy and the app. Presto changeo you've made your own stopmotion video. One of the cool features, of many this app has, is the ability to upload it straight to YouTube, Twitter and other.  The app is very intuative. Watch the video below and see what you can do with this app.

Skype iPhone App Had How Many Downloads?

Rumor has it that the awaited Skype iPhone application was downloaded over 1 million times in the first two days! Not sure of how well the app is working but what will that do to the ATT service after your two years are up? hhhmmmm. Anyway it's a fav amongst the iPhone users.

This is more for entertainment purposes. Have you ever stoped to hear a really great song on the radio and wondered who sang it? Did you also wait till the end of the song to hopefully have the DJ mention the name and band who sang it only to find them saying, "ok we are going to a commercial break".....Gasp! I'll tell you the app name in a moment.

Do you remember this classic moment, if you watched tv a few years back, that one married with children show. Al Bundy walks into a record store looking for this one song he's been dying to find out who sings it. He humms it to the clerk and the clerk says, "never heard of it".
